What is Portainer?
Portainer is a lightweight management UI which allows you to easily manage your Docker host or Swarm cluster. More information about this container can be found here: https://hub.docker.com/r/portainer/portainer-ce/ . After installation on Senate, it will be available as <service_name> at port 9000 to other Senate apps . Enter your portainer Configuration parameters and click on next. It will take about a minute for the process to finish.
Self-Host Portainer
Follow these steps to deploy on your own server.
Install Docker
Skip this step if Docker is already installed on your server.
curl -fsSL https://get.docker.com | sh
Configure
Customize the settings below. Defaults work for most cases.

Deploy
Copy the configuration and run it on your server.

volumes:
- /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock
- portainer-data:/data

Then run:
docker compose up -d
Access
Once started, access your app at http://localhost:9000
